We believe quality is not just focusing on reducing errors; it is about the efficiency, accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our processes and the application of those processes to ensure the deliverables always exceed client’s expectations as we see the quality as “value perceived by the customers.”
We have instituted excellence practices within our organization wherein scientifically proven methodologies are applied on all processes through stringent quality assurance and control measures resulting in a faith amongst our customers that quality on their projects will never be compromised.
Process framework of Pennant’s Operational Excellence initiative is closely integrated with the international industry standard quality frameworks and standards. This enables us to understand the unique “value” expected from each engagement then tailor our processes to enable realization of that value.
Quality and excellence have become standard de-facto at Pennant. Pennant quality management principles have been inculcated to each of our associates from the inception to emphasise quality to ensure on schedule on budget deliveries of highly mature process driven solutions.
Various complementary excellence initiatives provide a repository of industry standard procedures, guidelines and project management templates. Compliance with established requirements, standards and procedures is evaluated through process monitoring, product evaluation, audits and testing in compliance with quality standards: ISO 9001:2000 and CMMI.

Quality Assurance plays a significant controlling role in Pennant’s Global Delivery process at each and every phase transition point. Whether it is during the development stage of the application or while deploying the solution or carrying out fixing and enhancements. For every project that we undertake, QA Objective and Test Plan are prepared at the start of the project. This plan describes all the activities to be performed.
These activities enable us to measure, assess and enhance the company’s functions to ensure efficient performance and high quality project implementation while giving us an opportunity to continuously improve our process framework. Pennant adopted periodic formal independent feedback mechanisms to benchmark comprehensiveness of our process framework.
Our focus on project-level quality systems customized as per customer requirements ensures that every customer engagement progresses smoothly. Operational Excellence initiative at Pennant enables us to continually enhance our capabilities by effectively promoting:
- Competency development through extensive trainings and certifications as part of the Competency Excellence centres
- Knowledge Management system part of the competency excellence centre that encourages knowledge capture, knowledge sharing including the peer networking.
Pennant’s excellence initiatives and quality management systems are derived adopting the industry standards like SEI CMMI and ISO 9001:2008 and are successfully assessed against ISO 9001:2008 and CMMI Maturity Level 3.
